Ingredientes

  • 2 Tazas de couscous tradicional (cocido)
  • ¼ Taza de cilantro picadito
  • 1 Huevo
  • 1 Yema de huevo
  • La ralladura de un limón
  • ¾ Cucharadita de sal
  • ¼ Cucharadita de pimienta recién molida
  • 2 Cucharadas de harina
  • ¼ Taza de aceite de oliva

Preparación

  1. En recipiente mezcle el couscous con el cilantro, el huevo y la yema extra, la ralladura de limon y sal y pimienta. Espolvoree la harina sobre esta mezcla y vuelta a mezclar.
  2. En una sarten agregue el aceite de oliva y dje calentar a temperatura media. Forme los cakes de couscous con las manos (de esta mezcla saldran unas 8 unidades, tambien dependera que tamano quiera darle a los cakes).
  3. Lleve a cocinar de ambos lados por unos 3 a 4 minutos, hasta que este doraditos, retire y deje absorber el exceso de grasa en un papel toalla.
  4. Ideal servir con alguna mermelada o chutney.
  5. NOTA: Puede acompañarse con una mermelada de pimientos, chutney de mango o chutney de melocotón.
