Cous Cous con Cranberries y Almendras

Ingredientes

  • 2 Tazas de cous cous tipo Israelí
  • 2 Tazas de agua
  • 1 ½ Cucharada de aceite de oliva
  • 1/3 De taza de pasas
  • 1/3 De taza de cranberries
  • ½ Taza de puerro picado
  • ½ Taza de almendras laminadas o picadas y tostadas
  • Sal y pimienta al gusto

Preparación

  1. Colocar el agua en una ollita y llevar a hervir, agregar el cous cous y dejar cocinar de 5 a 7 minutos, luego colar y pasar por agua fría (para detener el proceso de cocción) y dejar enfriar en un recipiente llano.
  2. Pasar las pasas y los cranberries por un poco de agua, para eliminar un poco del azúcar.
  3. Luego secar con papel toalla y reservar.
  4. Llevar el cous cous a un bowl y agregar la sal y la pimienta. Añadir el aceite de oliva e incorporar las pasas y los cranberries, las almendras y puerro picadito.
  5. Mover bien y llevar a refrigerar.
  6. Puede comerse de inmediato, a temperatura ambiente o frío de nevera.
  7. Sirve de picadera, entrada o guarnición.
