Croquetas de Jamón de Pavo y Parmesano a las Finas Hierbas

Ingredientes

  • ½ Barra de mantequilla
  • 3 Tazas de leche
  • 1 Taza de harina
  • 1 ½ taza de jamón de pavo
  • 1 Taza de cebolla picada en pedazos pequeños
  • 1 Taza de queso parmesano
  • 1 Pizca de sal
  • 1 Pizca de pimienta
  • 1 Cucharada de tomillo
  • 1 Cuchara de orégano fresco
  • 2 Tazas de pan molido
  • 2 Huevos más 3 cucharadas de agua, batidos con un tenedor
  • Aceite para freír

Preparación

  1. En una sartén u olla colocar la mantequilla a fuego medio y derretir.
  2. Agregar las cebollas y dejar dorar por 1-2 minutos.
  3. Agregar el jamón de pavo y sofreír por 1 minuto, agregar 1 taza de leche para evitar que se tueste el jamón.
  4. Agregar las hierbas.
  5. Aparte, mezclar bien 2 tazas de leche y la taza de harina.
  6. Incorporar a la sartén la mezcla de leche y harina.
  7. Agregar sal y pimienta y continuar moviendo hasta que la mezcla espese y se despegue del sartén u olla.
  8. Luego, agregar el parmesano.
  9. Colocar la masa de la croqueta en una bandeja y dejar refrescar.
  10. Llevar a la nevera o freezer para enfriar.
  11. Mientras más fría esté es más fácil darle forma a las croquetas.
  12. Hacer bolitas de croqueta del tamaño deseado.
  13. Un tamaño sugerido puede ser de 1 a 1.5 pulgadas de diámetro.
  14. Se pasa por la mezcla de huevo y luego por el pan molido.
  15. Se van colocando en una bandeja o recipiente.
  16. Refrigerar antes de freír por lo menos por 2 horas.
  17. Freír en abundante aceite bien caliente.
