Ingredientes

  • ½ Libra de jamón cocido cortado en cubitos (si se usa rebanado, cortar en tiritas)
  • ¾ De libra de queso rallado (tipo fontina, cheddar, gouda)
  • 1 Cucharada de aceite de oliva
  • 2 Cucharadas de mantequilla
  • 12 Huevos
  • ½ Taza de crema de leche o leche entera
  • ¼ De taza de perejil liso picadito o puerro
  • Sal y pimienta al gusto

Preparación

  1. Precalentar el horno a 400 grados F. 180 grados C.
  2. En una sartén colocar la mantequilla y dejar derretir, agregar el jamón y dejar dorar (más o menos de 2 a 3 minutos). Aparte, batir los huevos junto con la crema o leche. Salpimentar al gusto (más o menos ½ cucharadita de sal y ¼ de cucharadita de pimienta).
  3. Agregar a los huevos el jamón y el perejil o puerro.
  4. En un molde o refractario, colocar el aceite de oliva y distribuirlo por todo el fondo. Agregar el huevo con el jamón y distribuir bien por todo el molde. Por último agregar el queso rallado por arriba.
  5. Llevar al horno por unos 15 minutos, retirar del horno y dejar reposar por unos 5 minutos antes de cortar.
