Ingredientes

  • ½ taza de quínoa lavada y escurrida (aproximadamente 1¼ tazas ya cocida)
  • 1 zanahoria mediana cortada en trozos
  • ½ cebolla cortada fina
  • 1 lata (15 oz) de frijoles blancos escurridos
  • ¼ taza de migas de pan
  • 1 huevo batido
  • 1 cucharada de comino
  • 1 cucharada de semillas de cilantro tostadas
  • ¼ cucharadita de sal
  • ¼ cucharadita de pimienta

Preparación

  1. Cocinar la quínoa según instrucciones del empaque.
  2. En la procesadora de alimentos, colocar las zanahorias y procesar.
  3. Agregar la quínoa cocida, la cebolla picada, los frijoles blancos, las migas de pan, el huevo y las especias, y procesar hasta que todo esté mezclado, pero no hecho puré. Lo que se busca es crear una textura gruesa, como si fuera una masa con trocitos.
  4. Con las manos, formar las 4 hamburguesas.
  5. Si la mezcla es demasiado pegajosa y las hamburguesas no se arman, agregar un poco más de migas de pan. Si aún no se arman, agregar un poco de agua.
  6. En una sartén antiadherente, cocinar a fuego medio las hamburguesas hasta que estén cocidas (unos 8 -12 minutos de cada lado, según el grado de cocción que se prefiera).
  7. Una vez cocidas, puede armar las hamburguesas añadiendo sus gustos preferidos.
