Ingredientes

  • 1 Pan de Viga
  • Para el relleno de pollo:
  • ½ libra de pechuga de pollo hervida y desmenuzada
  • ¼ taza de mayonesa
  • Aceitunas picadas
  • Para el relleno de jamón y queso:
  • 1 taza de Jamón triturado
  • ½ taza de queso cheddar triturado
  • Pimientos morrones asados
  • ¼ taza de mayonesa
  • Para el relleno de tocineta y puerro:
  • 2 cucharadas de puerro
  • ¼ taza de tocineta crujiente picada
  • 1 taza de cream cheese
  • Para el chutney/mermelada de pimientos:
  • 1 taza de pimientos en cubitos
  • ½ taza de vinagre de manzana
  • ½ taza de azúcar
  • 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva
  • Opcional: 1 cucharadita de chilli flakes

Preparación

  1. Procesar los rellenos por separado en el procesador, para obtener 3 pastas distintas.
  2. Quitar los bordes a 16 ruedas de pan de viga.
  3. Colocar 4 ruedas de pan de manera plana a lo largo o formando un cuadrado, y esparcir la primera mezcla.
  4. Tapar con otra capa de 4 panes.
  5. Repetir con las demás mezclas hasta terminar con una capa de pan.
  6. Cubrir con cream cheese y decorar con mermelada de pimientos y puerro.

  8. Para el chutney de pimientos, colocar todos los ingredientes en una olla a fuego alto.
  9. Cuando empiece a hervir, bajar el fuego y dejar por aproximadamente 20 minutos o hasta que los líquidos se conviertan en un syrup espeso. Dejar enfriar.
  10. Se puede licuar la mezcla para obtener consistencia de mermelada o puede dejarse en cubitos como un chutney.
